A total of 499 people in the United States set a new Guinness World Record by taking part in the largest chicken wing eating contest.
The record-breaking attempt took place during an annual event held at the Buffalo Convention Center in the city of Buffalo, New York, where participants gathered to establish a new Guinness World Record for the biggest chicken wing eating competition.
With 499 participants, the new record surpassed the previous record of 397 participants, which had been set in 2018 by Amazon Web Services.
An official representative from Guinness World Records was present at the venue to verify and confirm the latest record.
The funds raised through this record-setting attempt were donated to Horizon Health Services’ teen mental health program, supporting mental health initiatives for young people.
