At least 10 people were killed and six others injured in a devastating collision between a PSO oil tanker and a passenger vehicle on Reko Diq Site Road near Tehsil Nokundi, police confirmed.
According to police sources, the accident occurred when the oil tanker collided with the passenger vehicle, causing multiple fatalities on the spot. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Khuday Nazar from Taftan, was among those killed.
Authorities suspect that several other deceased individuals may be Afghan nationals attempting to illegally travel to Iran via Pakistan.

The injured, along with the bodies of the deceased, were transported to Nokundi Hospital. Police reported that three of the injured are in critical condition and receiving urgent medical care.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the collision and whether any negligence or traffic violations contributed to the tragedy.
