Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said opponents should prove corruption and he would resign.
Addressing a public meeting in Kohat, the chief minister said no appointment in the province had been made on recommendation, and those involved in corruption would be removed from service.
He said reforms were under way in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, adding that all new recruitments would be carried out through tests conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (Etea).
