President Asif Ali Zardari issued directives to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership, including Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, to accelerate the public contact campaign in the province.

Faisal Mir, Makhdoom Murtaza Mehmood, Abdul Qadir Shaheen and other PPP leaders also met President Asif Zardari.
