In a monumental address at the joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League in Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar stressed the pressing need for a separate Palestinian state as the sole resolution to the conflict.
Reflecting on the 70-year-old resolution by the United Nations aimed at addressing the Palestinian issue, the caretaker Prime Minister condemned the ongoing massacre in Gaza, stressing the urgency to halt these atrocities to prevent further conflicts.
He vehemently condemned the Israeli actions in Gaza, highlighting that even hospitals, schools, and UN offices are not safe from the ongoing bombardment. He emphasized the obligation to act and find a viable solution.
In an effort to support those affected, Pakistan promptly dispatched two planes carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza. Kakar expressed deep concern over the devastating impact of Israel's actions in Gaza, citing the mass destruction and displacement of innocent Palestinians due to the inhumane siege.
He strongly condemned the continuous violation of international humanitarian laws and human rights by Israeli forces in Palestine. He characterized the Israeli actions against Palestinians as a severe war crime and a violation of humanity.
The interim PM urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for its war crimes and demanded an immediate, unconditional ceasefire. He underscored the urgent need to end the siege of Gaza and ensure uninterrupted aid to the beleaguered people of the region.
