Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to visit Indonesia on August 17 and Kyrgyzstan on September 1 for two international summits.
The prime minister is due to attend the D-8 summit in Jakarta during his Indonesia visit. He is also expected to meet the Bangladesh prime minister in Jakarta, in what could be the first meeting between the two premiers.
Shehbaz is also expected to meet the Turkish and Iranian presidents in Jakarta, along with other world leaders.
PM's aircraft to take alternative route for Indonesia
The prime minister's aircraft will take an alternative route for the Indonesia visit. Pakistan will not seek permission from India to use its airspace.
The prime minister's next foreign visit is expected to be to Kyrgyzstan, where he will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit beginning on September 1.
