Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi described his meeting with Qatar counterpart Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani as ‘important’, emphasizing the discussion on strengthening cooperation in regional and bilateral matters.
In a message posted on social media platform X (former Twitter), Naqvi said the meeting was ‘fruitful’ and focused on enhancing collaboration between law enforcement agencies. He highlighted joint efforts to prevent drug smuggling and the importance of strengthening coordination among coastal security forces.
The federal minister added that the discussions also covered several other issues of mutual interest between the two countries.
In his tweet, Naqvi reaffirmed that the talks with his Qatari counterpart were productive, emphasizing excellent dialogue on regional and bilateral affairs, alongside exchanges on various other matters of mutual concern.
