All senior officers of the National Cyber Crimes Investigation Agency (NCCIA) have been removed from their positions.
Additional Director NCCIA Rawalpindi, Abdul Rauf, and Additional Director Admin, Mahmood-ul-Hasan, have been relieved of their posts. Additional Director Karachi, Abdul Ghaffar, and Additional Director Multan, Ahmed Zaeem, have also been dismissed. Deputy Director Abbottabad, Tahir Khan, has been made an OSD (Officer on Special Duty). Assistant Director Faisalabad, Asif Iqbal, and Assistant Director Sukkur, Amjad Abbasi, have had their charges withdrawn.
Ahsanullah Chauhan has been appointed Additional Director Rawalpindi Zone, Mudassir Shah as Additional Director Peshawar, and Tariq Khan as Additional Director Quetta. Assistant Director Fasih has been transferred from Karachi and appointed in charge of the Sukkur Zone.
All officers have been directed to report to the NCCIA headquarters. Notifications have been issued by the NCCIA headquarters.
