Security sources reported that all students and staff at Wana Cadet College, have been rescued safely.
Authorities confirmed that the operation is being brought to a final conclusion in a comprehensive manner. According to security officials, morale among the students and staff remains high. The operation will continue until the remaining insurgents are neutralised.
The latest video footage from the college shows security forces evacuating cadets under controlled conditions. Sources say the operation is being conducted with extreme caution and strategic planning. The Inspector General of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South is personally overseeing the operation at Cadet College Wana.

Owing to the presence of Afghan insurgents within the college, security forces are prioritising the safety of cadets while pursuing the terrorists with utmost care.
The operation is reportedly targeting three insurgents inside the college, all believed to be Afghan nationals who have been receiving instructions via telephone from Afghanistan. Security sources indicate that the insurgents are hiding in a building far from the cadets’ accommodation.
On November 10, Afghan insurgents rammed a vehicle laden with explosives into the college’s main gate. The blast destroyed the gate and caused damage to nearby buildings. Pakistani Army personnel responded immediately and decisively, killing two insurgents at the scene.
