Legendary all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi expressed on Wednesday his resolve to uplift Balochistan.
Shahid Afridi attended an event organised by the Voice of Balochistan (VOB) at the University of Balochistan (UoB) on “Building a Resilient Youth through Sports.” Shahid Afridi was accompanied by CT Minister for Sports Culture and Youth Affairs Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani and CEO Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) Zafar Malik.
More than 500 students from the different universities in Balochistan attended the event.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Shahid Afridi expressed optimism that the future of the province is quite promising.
"I am honoured to have shared an incredible day with the bright and energetic students at the University of Balochistan! Thank you to the Voice of Balochistan and all the students for their active participation and commitment to a brighter future for Pakistan.
“Special thanks to Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, for gracing the event and contributing to this meaningful dialogue,” Shahid Afridi maintained.
He urged the need for collective efforts to uplift the province, saying, “Let's continue to work together towards a brighter and more prosperous Balochistan. The future is in your hands, and it's looking incredibly promising.”
