The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially announced the results of the class 9th examinations for both the Science and General Groups 2025, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
The board chairman said the overall success rate in the Science Group stood at an impressive 78.26%, while the General Group (Regular and Private) recorded a 54.38% pass rate.

Science group shows strong performance
The Science Group students continued to perform well, maintaining the board’s trend of higher achievement in science subjects. The strong results reflect consistent academic performance across schools in Karachi.
Officials said that students who performed exceptionally well would be recognized for their achievements in upcoming award ceremonies.

General group performance and evaluation
The General Group, which includes both regular and private candidates, showed a moderate success rate of 54.38%. Education analysts noted that while the results show improvement in some areas, there is still room for better performance, particularly among private students.
The board is expected to release detailed statistics and top-performing schools in the coming days.
