Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have arrested a TikToker who was making indecent videos by dressing up as a girl, officials confirmed on Sunday.
According to police spokesperson Liaquat Ali, the individual, identified as Abdul Mughiz, had been posting videos on TikTok in which he disguised himself as a girl and shared objectionable content.
The videos, he said, caused “severe resentment and anxiety” in the local community.
Police action in Swabi
Following multiple complaints, the Bamkhel outpost team took immediate action and arrested Mughiz. A case has been registered against him under relevant laws.
“The accused confessed to his activities after his arrest and pledged to refrain from such immoral behavior in the future,” the police spokesperson added.
Local authorities noted that the incident highlights growing concerns over the misuse of social media platforms in rural districts, where cultural sensitivities remain high. Police have urged citizens to report similar activities promptly.
