Caretaker prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, President Dr Arif Alvi, and other political leaders condemned the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Training Airbase in Mianwali on Saturday.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Kakar praises the Pakistan Air Force. ‘’ The valiant Pakistan Air Force has once again proven its mettle by thwarting a cowardly terrorist attack in Mianwali’’.
‘’Any attempt to undermine our security will meet with unwavering resistance. The nation stands with you, and we salute your courage and resolve,’’ he added.

President Arif Alvi condemned the attack on the Mianwali training airbase. He expressed confidence in foiling a terrorist attack.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack on the Mianwali Air Force.
Taking to X, Shehbaz Sharif said: ‘’Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on the Pakistan Air Force base in Mianwali. Salute our security forces for their swift action, preventing casualties and foiling the evil plans of our enemies’’.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari condemned the attack on the airbase.
‘’Few terrorists, who have somehow escaped from the grip of the law, cannot demoralize the nation with their nefarious intentions and crimes,’’ Bhutto-Zardari stated.
