Pakistan Air Force is continuing to assist relief operations in flood-hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, transporting 48 tons of relief goods from Karachi to Peshawar on a special aircraft, the military said Sunday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the aid was delivered on an Air Eagle B-737 aircraft and included dry rations and other essential supplies.
The distribution will be carried out with the support of the National Disaster Management Authority.
The military said an air bridge has also been established to connect the affected districts of Buner and Shangla. The Air Force reaffirmed its commitment to stand with the nation during times of crisis.
