Bachat Bazars relief for masses
It's important to note that bachat bazaars in Karachi have been an essential source of relief for the general public grappling with soaring inflation.
These markets offer a diverse range of goods, from used items and clothing to essential food items, vegetables, fruits, and much more.
Approximately 150 bachat bazaars were previously authorized to operate under the Bureau of Supply and Prices' NOC, while an additional 100 were functioning with permissions from Deputy Commissioners and regional savings bazaars without the requisite NOCs.
In light of the ban, all bachat bazaar organizers are urged to initiate a verification process and obtain fresh NOCs from the district administration.
