A gang posing as delivery boys and involved in a series of robberies in Lahore’s upscale areas has been apprehended by police on Sunday.
According to details, the two-member gang carried out 13 robberies under the guise of home delivery in the posh locality of Gulberg.
Gulberg police arrested the suspects near Jallo Park after tracking their movements. Cash and a pistol were recovered from their possession during the operation.
Investigators revealed that the suspects would gain access to homes by pretending to deliver goods, before committing the crimes. CCTV footage from several incidents had already surfaced, aiding in their identification and arrest.
