Representing Pakistan, ASP Anam Sher Khan was selected after a rigorous global screening process, highlighting her exceptional contributions to criminal investigations.
She secured first position in her category, making her the only officer from Pakistan to win at this year’s summit.
The award was presented to ASP Anam by the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, who praised her for her leadership and dedication to investigative policing. Her achievement reflects the growing recognition of Pakistan’s efforts in modernizing law enforcement and elevating professional standards, particularly in women-led policing roles.

Every year, the World Police Summit honours officers around the globe who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact in their respective policing fields. This year, the selection committee underwent a strict scrutiny process, including in-depth interviews, before finalizing the winners. Out of hundreds of applicants, only two officers were shortlisted, with ASP Anam emerging victorious.
Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, expressed his pride in Anam’s accomplishment, stating that the World Police Summit is one of the largest and most respected platforms for law enforcement leadership globally, and that this win is a milestone not only for the Punjab Police but for the entire country.
