The Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather for most areas of Balochistan.
In Quetta, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37°C, while in Kalat it reached 34°C. Ziarat experienced a high of 28°C, whereas Zhob recorded a temperature of 39°C.
Sibi remained one of the hottest areas with temperatures soaring to 47°C, followed closely by Turbat at 48°C. In Nokundi, the mercury hit 46°C, while Chaman recorded a high of 39°C.
Coastal areas also witnessed intense heat, with Gwadar recording a maximum temperature of 41°C and Jiwani at 37°C.
The Met Office advises residents to take necessary precautions against heat-related risks during this ongoing hot spell.
