Federal Minister and President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan on Sunday paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force and armed forces, claiming a “decisive victory” over India in what he described as a renewed test of national resolve.
Addressing a gathering of party workers, the minister said, “Praise be to Allah, once again we have emerged victorious in the battle of truth and falsehood.”
Without giving specific details, Mr Khan said the recent confrontation reaffirmed Pakistan’s position as a responsible state even in times of conflict.
“We are not afraid of falsehood, O sky. We have done it a hundred times before, and this was yet another test of our commitment and unity,” he stated, quoting a poetic line to underscore the nation’s resilience.
The IPP president expressed gratitude for what he termed the “crushing defeat” inflicted on the enemy. “The enemy was crushed on all sides by timely and vigorous retaliation,” he claimed, praising the armed forces for their swift and coordinated response.
While official channels have not confirmed the occurrence of any fresh military engagement between Pakistan and India, Mr Khan’s comments appeared to reference rising tensions in the region.
“Congratulations to the entire nation on this victory. The Pakistan Air Force has once again proven its superiority in the skies,” he said, adding that the Pakistan Army had “crushed the enemy’s pride and raised the nation’s honour.”
Describing the moment as historic, Mr Khan said, “Today is a day to prostrate ourselves in gratitude for this unprecedented success.”
