Crime Control Department (CCD), Punjab, has solved the blind double murder case of a mother and her young daughter from Nankana Sahib, bringing the culprits to justice in what officials described as a brutal act carried out under the guise of “honour.”
Three suspects were included: Muhammad Yousuf and Nasir, both residents of Nankana Sahib, and Muhammad Mansab, a resident of Mandi Faizabad.
According to CCD officials, all accused have confessed to murdering the mother and daughter, mutilating their bodies, and discarding the remains in a canal in an attempt to eliminate all evidence.
CCD spokesperson said the department is committed to delivering justice in cases involving women, children, the elderly, transgender individuals, and persons with physical or mental disabilities.
Additional IG Crime Control Department Sohail Zafar Chatha directed CCD to prioritize the long-pending case involving the mysterious disappearance of the victims.
