The Lahore High Court heard the case regarding a harassment allegation against Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam on petition challenging the order for the registration of a case against him.
During the hearing, Justice Waheed Khan extended the stay order against the registration of the case.
The court also summoned the woman who filed the complaint on December 12 for further proceedings.
Babar Azam’s legal counsel, Barrister Haris Azmat, presented the case on behalf of the cricketer, who has challenged the trial court’s decision to register a case.
The next hearing is scheduled for December 12.
