The Anti-Terrorism Court Judge approved a five-day physical remand of PTI founder in the protest case and ordered the accused to be produced again on November 25.
The physical remand was approved by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Amjad Ali Shah.
The founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been formally arrested in a case registered by the New Town Police, under anti-terrorism provisions, for issuing a protest call on September 28.
The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) judge is scheduled to visit Adiala Jail today to conduct a hearing regarding the police’s request for the physical remand of the PTI founder. Public prosecutor Zaheer Shah will present arguments in favor of the remand.
An investigation team from the Rawalpindi police will also arrive at Adiala Jail to proceed with their inquiry. Upon approval of the remand, the team plans to interrogate the PTI founder on-site.
