The Punjab government has expanded the "Maryam Ki Dastak" program, adding 11 new districts to its growing network.
With this expansion, residents of 22 districts across Punjab can now conveniently access more than 60 government services without leaving their homes.
Developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the program offers a wide range of essential services, including obtaining marriage certificates, learner driving licenses, and e-stamping services.
The initiative aims to streamline the delivery of government services, making them more accessible and efficient for the public.
Chairman of the Punjab IT Board, Faisal Yousaf, emphasized that the goal of the program is to bring government services directly to citizens' doorsteps. He also noted that this initiative has resulted in significant savings of both time and costs for the people of Punjab.
"Maryam Ki Dastak" is set to revolutionize how citizens interact with government departments, providing easy access to services that previously required in-person visits to various government offices.
The initiative highlights the government's commitment to digital transformation and improving public service delivery.
