On the other hand, In light of the ongoing monsoon rains, the Managing Director of WASA Lahore has directed all staff and machinery to remain on high alert.
Following the special instructions from Chief Minister Punjab, MD WASA emphasized the importance of maintaining readiness at all times during this critical period.
The MD WASA has also issued clear instructions to ensure that all generators are kept in working order and ready for immediate use in case of power outages.
In addition, the cleanliness of screens at all disposal stations has been prioritized. MD WASA has instructed that these screens should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent blockages, which could exacerbate flooding during heavy rains.
