Hundreds of thousands of people welcomed National hero Arshad Nadeem as his convoy reached his hometown Mian Channu. People showered red roses and flowers on the convoy of Arshad Nadeem.
The city is beaming with joy and celebration.
National hero and gold medalist Arshad Nadeem’s convoy enroute Mian Channu from Manga Mandi where he had breakfast and before that he prayed the Fajar prayer at Raiwind Markaz of Tablighi Jamaat.
Arshad Nadeem in the presence of hundreds and thousands of his fans and Pakistanis had breakfast at a local hotel in Manga Mandi.
Punjab Police, Traffic Police, Elite Force, and National Highway Police have been escorting the convoy carrying the national hero who made everyone proud and broke the weapon throw 119-year record in Olympic history with 92.97 meters.
The convoy is on its way to Sahiwal, concluding its destination to Main Channu.

People of Punjab and Mian Channu showered flowers on the vehicles and raised slogans in favour of Arshad Nadeem.
Thousands of people were gathered to celebrate his achievement. Upon his arrival, people showered him with flower petals and celebrated his return with drum beats and chants of "Long Live Arshad Nadeem, Long Live Pakistan".
Arshad Nadeem was also given warm welcome by people at every town and city during his journey from Lahore to Mian Channu.
Earlier, on his arrival at Allama Iqbal Lahore airport he was received by Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari, Punjab Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar, PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Chairman of the PM Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed.
Arshad Nadeem's family, who had traveled from their village to Lahore with special protocol, joined the officials in welcoming him.
Pakistan’s Olympic hero Arshad Nadeem arrived in Lahore via Turkish Airlines. His plane was given a water salute by the Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Arshad Nadeem's caravan entered Harappa territory.
The caravan stopped for a few hours at a petrol pump station near Harappa city.
Arshad Nadeem got out of the car and took pictures with the Police personnel.
