A rally was held on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Martyr Burhan Muzaffar Wani under the leadership of All-Party Hurriyat Conference leader Ghulam Muhammad Safi in the provincial capital Karachi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, thousands of people including leaders of political, religious and social parties of Pakistan participated in the rally.
Leaders of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir branch, Advocate Pervez Ahmed, Ejaz Rahmani, Raja Khadim Hussain and Imtiaz Wani also participated in the rally.
The participants of the rally also marched from the Karachi Arts Council to the Press Club. Leader of Pakistan People's Party Saeed Ghani, Muttahida Qaumi Movement's Aminul Haque, Jamaat-e-Islami's Parvez, Raja Azhar, Mufti Usman, Saleem Ilyas, Abdul Rehman, Palestinian Foundation's Dr. Sabir Abu, Dr. Maryam, Azad Kashmir Minister Amir Ghaffar Lone, People's Party Lawyers Forum President Qazi Bashir and others participated.
During this occasion, the people raise slogans demanding for Jammu and Kashmir to be freed from Indian illegal occupation. Rally attendees carried banners featuring images of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
