Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Sunday proposed that all politicians should pay attention to the "charter of reconciliation".

Addressing the public gathering on the occasion of the 45th death anniversary of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Bhutto-Zardari said, "Today we are commemorating the 45th anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto."

He lavished his praise on Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, saying, "Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave Pakistan its constitution, empowered the people with the vote, made the country a nuclear power".

Bhutto-Zardari said: "We are managing two provincial governments in the elections through the hard work of the workers. Our two chief ministers have been elected, the Senate chairman has been elected."

"We have made history by making Asif Ali Zardari the president for the second time, and we have acted on the slogans of bread, clothing, and shelter through the BISP," the former foreign minister added.

He said: "President Zardari strengthened the country through a charter of democracy. Even now, some forces do not believe in democracy, and President Asif Zardari made all conspiracies unsuccessful".

Few days back, Bhutto-Zardari said that serving the people was the top priority of his party.

Addressing the party workers in Larkana, the former foreign minister said: "The elected representatives have a key role to play in a bid to address the masses' problems."

"The elected representatives should roll out projects considering the needs of the masses," he added.

Bhutto-Zardari said, "The personal ego, divide, and hate will not be helpful in overcoming the challenges.".

"All the institutions should work while remaining within the constitutional limits," he added.

He vowed to continue to fight for the sake of the masses' rights.

Speaking about former president Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, he said: "The Supreme Court has announced a key verdict in the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto case. It was accepted that justice was not delivered to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto."
