Two police personnel were martyred after an explosion near an armoured police vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan, according to police officials.
According to details, the blast took place in the Hathala area of Kulachi. The DSP said that a search operation is underway in the area.
Earlier, the Inter-Services Public Relations said security forces conducted two operations in Kurram district. In an exchange of fire during a targeted operation based on intelligence, twelve members of the Kharijites were killed. In a separate operation against another group, forces killed eleven terrorists.
