WhatsApp's latest feature, channels, is now available in Pakistan, allowing users to follow topics privately, just like Telegram.
Originally launched in a handful of countries, it has now gone global, including Pakistan.
What are channels?
Think of channels as dedicated spaces where you can share updates and content with a wide audience.
It's different from the old Broadcast Lists that send messages individually.
How to use channels
You can find channels under the “Updates” tab on WhatsApp. It's a place where you can see Status updates and discover new channels.
Creating your own channel
While not everyone can create their channel right away, some in Pakistan are already doing it.
