Weather to remain cold, dry for the next 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecast cold and dry weather in most parts of Pakistan for the next 24 hours.

According to the weather department, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country for the next 24 hours, however rain thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected in Makran and Quetta divisions.

Very cold weather conditions are likely to prevail in Balochistan and northern parts of the country. Frost is expected at a few places in upper and central Punjab during night/morning.

Foggy conditions are likely over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.

Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country in the past 24 hours.

Lowest temperatures were recorded at Kalam and Astore with – 09, Malamjabba -06, Skardu, Dir, Kalat and Gupis -05°C, Quetta, Gilgit, Bagrot, Parachinar,-04°C.
