Weather forecast: Dry spell likely to continue in next 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Mainly dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours as continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, Met Department said Monday.


Dense foggy/smoggy conditions are expected over plain areas of Punjab and foggy over central and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

During the last 24 hours, weather remained dry in most parts of the country. However, dense foggy conditions prevailed over most plain areas of Punjab.


Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad twelve degree centigrade, Lahore sixteen, Karachi twenty, Peshawar fourteen, Quetta five, Gilgit two, Murree nine and Muzaffarabad eleven degree centigrade.

Weather Forecast for next 12 hours:
Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Dense foggy/smoggy conditions are expected over plain areas of Punjab and foggy over central and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

No rainfall was recorded in any part of the country during last 24 hours.

Today's lowest minimum temperatures were recorded in Skardu -02°C and Gilgit 00°C. –SAMAA
