Karachiites face another hot day

KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted another hot day for Karachi on Sunday, Samaa reported.

According to PMD, mercury in Karachi is likely to reach 41 degrees on Sunday.

It should be noted that the weather department has predicted hot weather through out the week for Karachi with temperature likely to reach 42 degrees centigrade.

The weather department stated that climate remained dry in most parts while very weather conditions prevailed in Sindh and lower Balochistan. Rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

PMD stated predicted hot and dry weather in many parts of the country whereas very hot weather conditions are likely to prevail in Sindh and South Balochistan for the next 24 hours.

Many cities of the country including Hunza, Bagrote, Gilgit, Astore, Bunj, Dir, Kalam, Pattan, Lower Dir, Mangla, Mianwali,Kashmir and Kotli received rainfall.
