Frontline health workers will be given the shots first
The COVID-19 vaccine is finally arriving in Pakistan this month. The Sindh government has announced that it will receive the vaccines from the NCOC after the second week of January.
Provincial Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho has directed the vaccine coordination cell and officials to ensure smooth supply once inoculation starts at the Karachi Expo Centre. In India, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine got clearance on Saturday.
