Famed Urdu writer Fahmida Riaz being remembered today

She breathed her last in Lahore on Nov 21, 2018

Fahmida Riaz was a famed, progressive writer of Pakistan. She authored eight collections of verses, four novels and one collection of short stories.

Riaz wrote five other books based on translation of verses in Persian and Sindhi languages, and critiques. She breathed her last in Lahore on Nov 21, 2018.
