Watch: Karachi policeman extorts money from shopkeeper

He demanded money for putting diesel in his car

A policeman extorted money from a shopkeeper in Bilal Colony, New Karachi. The shopkeeper made a video of the policeman asking for money.

“Give me money for putting diesel in my car,” the policeman said in the video. “Give Rs100 now and give Rs100 in the morning.”

Multiple police vans come at night to take money, the shopkeeper said. He said they belong to different police stations.

    This piliceman clearly visible in the video must be punished and money must be returned to shopkeeper and he must be terminated from his Job so others will learn the lesson from his punishment.

    Why police department don’t pay daily allawonce to police squads on patrolling duty.
    They must be paid food allawonce and fuel allawonce for the vehicles.
    They have no choice other than collecting money from the public.

    @anwarbaig: During hard times, allowing the Police force to tax the masses is discriminatory towards the honest thugs and street criminals desperate to make ends meet. The least is to share their criminal tax equally with local bandits.
