The Pakistan Navy rescued 42 people in Balochistan’s Lasbela district after floods hit the district. Many residents were stranded after heavy rainfall in the area cut them off from other areas. On Thursday, an emergency was declared and the local government called in the navy for help finding people. The search for missing and stranded people is still under way.
