The seawater at Karachi’s Clifton beach has become toxic. It’s causing skin diseases, according to a study by Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources.

The sun-kissed Clifton beach is being polluted, with sewage water directly discharged into the sea through two major sewage nullahs.

But thousands of citizens daily visit the beach without knowing threats to their lives.
