Monster crocodile found trapped in Sri Lanka

A giant crocodile measuring 17 feet in length, clocking in at a weight of approximately a tonne was caught by villagers in the coastal town of Matara, in the southern province of Sri Lanka.

Dubbed the 'monster crocodile', the humungous reptile found itself trapped in a canal by the Nilwala river and had to be extricated using heavy machinery, later being released in a safer place. Watch.
