Deadlock between protesting students and the administration of Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) continued on Thursday, with academic activities suspended for ninth consecutive day.

The QAU students are on strike against the university administration, demanding that expelled students be restored. The students were expelled a couple of months ago for causing unrest in campus.

Also, the protesting students have demanded that the university improve students’ facilities, construct new hotels, withdraw hike in fees and so on in their 13-point charter of demand.

The students have vowed to continue the protest till their demands are met. – Samaa
