LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that democratically elected prime ministers are ousted for some reason.
Speaking on Saturday, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader stated that the ‘joke of ousting prime ministers’ has been going on for the past 70 years and it must be stopped.
He added that there is a ‘manufacturing fault’ in those people who do not respect the nation’s mandate.
Sanaullah stated that the Supreme Court had rejected Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar’s verdict.
‘Justice Hameed Dogar had validated Pervez Musharraf’s proclamation of emergency,’ the minister said.
He added that no legal expert can term the verdict against former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto correct.
