Panama papers– an unprecedented leak of 11.5m files from the database of the world’s fourth biggest offshore law firm, Mossack Fonseca. Panama leaks case revolves around the offshore properties of the ruling Sharif family as well and it’s the most prominent case in the history of Pakistan – even in the political landscape of our country. The issue is frankly trivial and not worth this much obsession, but thanks to our electronic media which has transformed this triviality into a national obsession.
The third round of the Panamagate case concluded on Friday. A three-judge bench of the apex court reserved its judgment after five days of hearing on the different aspects of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report.
For opposition, the Panama case has become a fixation which is now bordering lunacy. A day after the Supreme Court reserved its judgment/ verdict in the Panamagate case, Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah has advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, “If you want to resign with integrity, do it by tonight.”
Meanwhile, many PTI leaders start their tirade by saying,
“Abhi Panama case ka faisla in ke khilaf aane wala hai.”
The Panama leaks case has become the top trend of social media these days as our beloved Prime Minister is on the brink of being disqualified, amid the mounting pressure, probably he can also step down voluntarily.
On micro-blogging website Twitter, people expressed solidarity with PM Nawaz. However, few shared their views against Nawaz Sharif as they said that the political saga surrounding PM Nawaz’s off-shore assets is about to flare up.
No doubt! The credit for #PanamaCase goes to Imran Khan who stood against Corrupt Mafia Alone & JIT Members for Brilliant Investigation

From the hindsight, it appears that the PM and his children failed in giving the money trail. #PanamaCase

#PanamaCase has actually created a situation that apex court will’ve to serve justice & perhaps both Imran Khan & Nawaz Sharif will’ve to go
