The International Cricket Council (ICC) recalled Pakistan’s memorable Cricket World Cup 2019 win over hosts England.

The sport’s governing body shared highlights of the match on its one-year anniversary.

Pakistan had headed into the fixture in Nottingham on the back of a heavy defeat to West Indies in their opening game.

Mohammad Hafeez top-scored with 84 while Babar Azam and then-captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 63 and 55 respectively as Pakistan posted a huge total of 348-8.

Sarfaraz’s side went on to win the game by 14 runs as the hosts managed 334-9 despite Joe Root and Jos Buttler scoring centuries.
