West Indies cricketer Darren Sammy claimed that he was addressed with a racial jibe when he was in India.

“That’s what that dude called me in India..Kalu,” the former captain commented on a video on Instagram. “I just thought it was funny. Now I know.”

The West Indies cricketer had earlier urged the cricket fraternity to speak against racial discrimination.

Violent protests have gripped the United States since an unarmed Minneapolis native George Floyd was killed.
