The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is allowing its cricketers to skip the England tour if they are not happy with the arrangements being made to keep them safe.

“Players will be given an option to withdraw if they are still not satisfied with the provisions that will be put in place,” the Chief Executive of Pakistan Board (PCB) Wasim Khan said as quoted in a tweet by the board. “Full details will be provided in the coming weeks.”

He went on to say that the Men in Green may have to spend at least three months in a bio-secure environment, adding that the board won’t compromise on the safety and well-being of its players.

Pakistan are to play a three-match Test series before heading into a three-match T20I series. There is speculation that the Test series can be extended into a five-match one if West Indies choose to skips their tour of England.
