Quetta Gladiators skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed — who led his team to victory in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 on Sunday — has not been included in the all-star PSL team.

The all-start team was announced on PSL’s Twitter page.

Five overseas players have been included in the team whereas the winning captain himself is not in the playing XI. AB de Villiers is leading the all-star team.

The top order consists of Shane Watson (Quetta Gladiators), Kamran Akmal (Peshawar Zalmi), Babar Azam (Karachi Kings) and AB de Villiers (Lahore Qalandars).

The middle-order consists of Colin Ingram (Karachi Kings), Asif Ali (Islamabad United) and Kieron Pollard (Peshawar Zalmi).

Faheem Ashraf (Islamabad United), Wahab Riaz (Peshawar Zalmi), Hasan Ali (Peshawar Zalmi) and Umer Khan (Karachi Kings) round off the playing XI.

Sandeep Lamichhane (Lahore Qalandars) is the 12th man on the team.
