The tri-nation Twenty20 series kicks off on Sunday as Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe in the first game of the series at Harare Sports Club.

The match will begin at 1pm Pakistan Standard Time.

Captain of the Pakistan cricket team Sarfraz Ahmed has said that the tri-nation series, which also features Australia, will be a tough one.

“There are no lenient teams in Twenty20 cricket and Australia, you all know, is a strong side in the T20 format,” he said while speaking to the media. “All of their players, even if they are new, know how to play in the format,”

“I think the tri-nation series will be a tough one.”

He expressed his optimism that the side will continue to perform well in the Twenty20 format of the game.

He said that Pakistan’s fast bowling is performing well, especially in Twenty20s.

“Yasir Shah has made a comeback, which is a good sign as we have included another lavish player in the squad,” he added.

The Pakistani captain said that they will be making use of Mohammad Hafeez’s bowling in the tri-nation Twenty20 series.
