LAHORE: Chief Selector of the Pakistan cricket team Inzamam-ul-Haq has said that cricket is suffering due to too many Twenty20 fixtures, Samaa reported.
Speaking on Thursday, Haq stressed that club level cricket has to be promoting in the country.
“It boosts the skills of the players,” he said.
The Chief Selector of the team went on to say that they have to focus on first class cricket in Pakistan.
He also said that the number of stadiums in Pakistan have to be increased.
The former cricketer further said that players participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will learn a lot by playing in the tournament.
Haq added that the decision of nominating the final XI for a match rests with the coach and the captain.
