John Cena reveals why he started bodybuilding

BOSTON: One of the world’s most celebrated wrestlers, John Cena has spilled the beans as to why he took to bodybuilding and later wrestling-a decision that changed his life altogether.

According to Huffington Post, the wrestler was bullied at school while he was still a young child and the decision that he took up played a vital role in his physical development.

Talking to the internet based newspaper, the WWE entertainer said, “I haven’t really run into a lot of folks that say that they weren’t bullied as a kid. Nowadays, especially with social media, there is a lot of bullying going on.”

Revealing his secret, 16-time world champion in the WWE John Cena remarked, “But, I go back to my high school dynamic and there were like two kids who bullied people and they bullied everybody.”

He added, “So, yes, I was bullied, but that goes along with a lot of people.” The incident served as a catalyst for the little kid to massively build body muscle.

Besides being a decent rapper, John Cena also appeared in some Hollywood movies alongside Tina Fey, Amy Schumer and Will Ferrell.

Promoting individualism and self-expression, the wrestler is currently active in social circles working with the shoe company as part of their “Come As You Are” campaign. .
In an advert for the company, Cena explains that after asking his Dad if he could bulk up, the bullies never touched him again but he does stress that he never sought revenge on the bullies either.
