LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi on Wednesday said that the renovation of Karachi’s National Stadium for Pakistan Super League (PSL) final will be completed in February, Samaa reported.
Speaking in a press conference on Wednesday, Sethi said that the renovation of National Stadium is in full swing.
He added that Dubai and Abu Dhabi are requesting for matches to be staged in their cricket grounds.
He said that audit for PSL 1 has been complete whereas the audit process for the second edition of the cricket league is in process.
Sethi went on to say that regional players will be selected in the cricketing league. He added, “We will try to create more franchise in the league”.
“We hope that the franchises will support us in this regard as the right to pick the players rest with them,” Sethi said.
