Wet outfield due to intermittent rain in Hyderabad delayed the toss of the third and deciding Twenty20 international between India and Australia on Friday.
The toss was due to take place at 6.30pm (1300 GMT), but was delayed as groundstaff worked to dry up wet patches at the Uppal Stadium.
Umpires will hold an inspection to decide on the start of play, with the threat of more rain looming over the final game of the limited-overs series.
The David Warner-led Australia, who levelled the series at 1-1 on Tuesday, are aiming to end a largely disappointing Indian tour on a high ahead of their Ashes series starting November 23.
Virat Kohli’s India, who had edged out the visitors 2-1 in the Test series in March, clinched the one-day internationals 4-1 earlier this month. – AFP
